- Some of the basic set cards can be found inserted in various WCW video boxes [i.e. Superstar Series Kevin Nash The Outsider (T 7142)]
- Promo card B1 was issued as a dealer incentive only card. Dealers who purchased cases of this release, received these cards.
- Only the 37 autograph cards above were released into packs. There are other autograph cards circulating the market, but are not certified authentic by the manufacturer. Although the exact total of just how many authentic autograph cards there are that never were returned in time or at all is not known, the following cards can be confirmed to have been part of this release.

- Autograph cards are not numbered.
- There may be some variations in the autograph cards. Some can be found where the superstar signed on the back instead of the front or signed differently from the more commonly found versions of that card. These cards may of may not hold any more value than a regular signed version.
- Authentic Autographs & Chrome cards are Hobby Box Edition exclusives.
- There are variations in the Sonny Onoo autograph cards. The more common version is the ones in which he signed on the back of the card.
- Sticker Cards are a Retail Box Edition exclusive.
