Superstar Collector’s Kit
RELEASE INFORMATION:
– 1 sided sales sheet distributed prior to release date.
– Boxes (UPC #017281200203) contain 36 packs with 12 cards per pack (UPC #017281200203). Factory sets contains a complete set of all 150 cards. (UPC #017281200227)
– These cards are often times confused with the previous Classic releases from the year before. These cards all have a blue border and have the Classic and WWF logo in the upper left hand corner.
– This checklists is for the US released version of the set. There is also an identical set released in Europe. The difference between the two card sets is the card stock and size.
– The Superstar Collector’s Kit includes the following: Complete 150-card set, 10 Poly-Pro pages, 10 individual card holders & card collector’s album. (Back)
– Card binder does not have any markings on it that identify it with this release. These binders were made available both through mail-in offers and via the Superstar Collector’s Kit and are red in color. Mail-in offers were via entry form found inside packs. Only 500 kits were given away, as stated on the side of the box.
– There are some printing errors found on these cards (as well as Merlin released version for the European market) with some print missing on the back. This could be anything from the autograph line missing, the release information missing to an entire blank back.
