RELEASE INFORMATION:
– Released December 1, 2022 through the waxateria.com website.
Base Cards 1- 50 Have 1/1 White Bordered Parallels –
Note: The Melissa Coates 1/1 was sent to Sabu, so in the 100 Hobby sets there are 49 1/1’s and 51 Autographs.
– All base cards have an orange border except for card numbers 43, 44, 45 and 46, which have a red border. These cards feature collectors within the hobby. All 1/1 cards have a white border.
– Although there are only 150 sets in the first run printing (100 sets sold and 50 of each in the base set given out to wrestlers & for autographs), 30 cards from these 50 were given to Chuckster (card 46), upon his request, for him to give to family and friends.
Autograph Cards –
NOTE: The David Peck Autographs were added later and three random wrestler autographs were removed to make space. Sabu, Malta the Damager and David Peck are the only subjects that have all of their autos in the boxes. This is not the case for all subjects. For example, while there are 10 Richard Ruiz autograph cards there are only three in the hobby edition. Sabu on the other hand has all of his autos in the product. The reason for this is because Waxateria only have 50 1/1’s and had more than 50 autographs.
Charles Wonder & David Peck autograph cards are the only ones hand numbered.
Print Run –
The print run of this set is 150. The additional 50 sets were for autographs and for the wrestlers. Waxateria are making another 100 sets and that will be it.
Variations –
The Sabu PVA:
When Waxateria created the set, they wanted to do parallels, variations and autographs but wanted to keep it simple. So they made the SABU PVA. (Parallel, variation, autograph) However, while this card is a variation of the base set, and an autograph, it is not a parallel. Being that they only have 1/1 parallels in the set, they didn’t want to confuse people.
Uncirculated variations –
1. Test Proofs:
Before the set was produced, Waxateria printed 90 cards as “test proofs”. Among these test proofs were just 3 subjects. All of these cards have “test proof” written in yellow across the back with the exception of Mike Orlando.

2. The Sabu PVA with no Autograph: (no photograph)
When Waxateria created the Sabu PVA, they had thirty cards printed, but their agreement with Sabu was for 15 Autographs. So there are 15 Sabu PVA cards with no autograph.
3. The Dark Orlando:
(The Dark Orlando) (Base version)
Among the test proof cards were Mike Orlando. They included this card in with the test proofs because they thought it might print too dark. When the test proofs came back, they lightened up his photo a bit. The Mike Orlando test proof does not have “test proof” written on the back because the printer made a mistake. So the only way to distinguish this card and the base is by how dark it is in comparison.
4. The Backward Packs:
When Waxateria were printing the cards, the printer shrink-wrapped the entire run backwards. They had them reprint and repackage the whole product, and sent the mis-packaged sets back to the printer to be destroyed. Waxateria kept a few before sending them back and there are probably 10 of these in existence.
5. The Sabu Prototype:
The prototype was created before the set and features an orange border, and the Sabu image used on the PVA. This card was printed on very low quality stock paper and only one exists.
6. Charles Wonder Autograph variations:
Charles Wonder put various inscriptions on the backs of all 10 of his autograph cards. Here is a list of all the different inscriptions he’s done.
